    Lincoln’s Journey

This morning we had a meeting about the results of Lincolns second evaluation that ultimately decided if he was in the special ed program. While walking to the special ed office they had told me that he definitely qualified for services and that after the initial meeting we were having the IEP meeting. At first, I didn't react and after it sank in said "o.k." In the mounds of paperwork, it comes down to his numbers and how they are compared to someone his age. 77-100 is "average," below 77 means there is a delay and over 100 is above average. Lincoln’s Journey

Last Wednesday we went to Lincolns pediatrician to talk to him about our concerns with Lincoln developmentally, and the results from his initial special ed screening. Phoenix Zoo July 2017

Yes…it is 100 degrees outside, but we still went to the zoo. Our kids love to get out and explore and as long as they are happy and having fun, the temperature outside doesn’t matter. Miscarriage.

Loosing a child is never easy. It's like a feeling that you can't describe. Sure, I wasn't pregnant long, but I still feel like a piece of my soul is missing. To think that our child would have turned 1 a 2 weeks ago is devastating. Would their hair have been curly, would they have had blue or green eyes, would they have had my smile. There are a lot of questions that will never be answered. Here is the photo that I sent to Taylor, so excited to welcome another child into our lives.
